He advises clients primarily on the choice and setting of the appropriate regulatory structure for their business models, the creation and operation of investment funds, bond financing, crowdfunding and payment services.
Within these activities, he actively represents clients in authorisation, registration and sanction proceedings before the National Bank of Slovakia.
In addition, Roman advises clients doing business in the field of cryptocurrencies, in particular on the overlap of their activities into financial regulation, and also provides legal advice in the field of employment law.
During his tenure at Highgate Law & Tax, Roman was a speaker at the 2022 Conference on the Establishment and Operation of Investment Funds and a panelist on several panels at the 2023 Real Estate – Tax and Financing Conference, covering fund and tax structures, crowdfunding, bonds and bank financing in the real estate sector.
