“As the main economic benefit of employee shares often lies not only in the possibility to participate in the profit of the company in the form of a profit-sharing right, but also in the possibility to sell this share in the company in the future, with its value depending on the market value of the company, to which its employees contribute to a large extent.
Thus, there is a presumption that ownership of a share in a firm directly motivates the employee to participate in the growth of its value ” says Tomáš Demo.
